Psychologist's Day has been celebrated since 2004 at the initiative of the National Association of Practical Psychologists and Social Workers of Ukraine. The date of April 23 was not chosen by chance, because it was on this day in 1896 that the outstanding Ukrainian psychologist Hryhoriy Kostyuk was born, who made a significant contribution to the development of psychological science and education in Ukraine.
